INDOOR TRAINING ROOM

Central to the complex is the 33 x 16 mtr indoor training area, known as the green room, with a 12 mtr high ceiling and specifically constructed synthetic turf surface.  The field turf surface has been designed to create an artificial surface which duplicates the playing conditions of real grass.

The turf is perfect for any sporting codes (Rugby, Hockey, Football but to name a few) training sessions.  Ideal for beep tests and circuit training.

Hired on an hourly basis - $60.00phr

EMERSION POOLS & RECOVERY ROOM

The recovery room and emersion pools ensure athletes receive top quality care.  Two physio tables and emergency equipment, an ice making maching, TV  and video are housed in the recovery Room. 

Both hot (38degrees) and cold (12 degrees) pools allow total body immersion for effective lactic acid removal post exercise.

The Cold pool constricts bollod vessels and flushes waste products, like lactic acid, out of affected tissues, and helps to reduce swelling and tissue breakdown.  The hot pool increases blood flow and speeds circulation, an din turn, improves the healing process.

Team Hire - $30.00 per half hour session

PUMP START FITNESS CENTRE

The Pump Start Fitness Centre is furnished with the latest in exercise equipment and overseen by highly qualited personal traininers.

Fully air conditioned with separate cardio and weight training areas, television monitors with five Sky TV channels, Pump Start is a executive level fitness facility.

Teams and individuals can use the Pump Start Gym on a casual basis while in town for training and workout purposes.

Discerning clients include elite athlets from cricket, rugby, netball and motorsport.  You could find yourself training next to a sporting legend.

Memberships start from $715.00pa or $10.00 per casual visit

RUGBY FIELDS AND CHANGING ROOMS

Two huge changing rooms are equipped with toilet facilities and communal showers with copious amounts of hot water.

Three floodlit rugby fields are the centre;iece of the Sport and Rugby Institute.  Illumination o fone pitch imitates match standards, enabling you to experience that "big game" atmosphere.  All equipment needed for rugby training is available on site including scrum machines, ruck sleds, tackle bags, body padding, cones, flags and balls.
