JAMES AMON - Head Trainer and Manager of the Pump Start Fitness Centre |

James graduated from UCOL in Palmerston North at the end of 2003 with a Bachelor of Human Performance. After 2 years of running a successful personal training company he became the Head Trainer and Manager of the Pump Start Fitness Centre at the Sport and Rugby Institute. In 2011 he completed his Post graduate Diploma in Health Science in Physical Conditioning and will soon be undertaking his thesis for his Masters degree. His passion of working with athletes led him to pursue an internship for the NZ Academy of Sport and after 3 years, in 2008, James became a fully qualified Strength & Conditioning Practitioner, qualified to work with NZ's elite athletes. James has worked for the NZAS for 6 years and is now the lead strength & conditioner for the manawatu region. He has a close working relationship with the NZAS North Team and trains athletes from a wide range of sports when requested. Having worked at the Pump Start Fitness Centre since 2006 James has helped many clients work towards achieving their own personal goals. BRENT ARGYLE - Personal Trainer |

Brent graduated from UCOL with a Bachelor of Human Performance in 2007. He is currently training under the guidance of James Amon to become a fully accredited New Zealand Sports and Condition Practitioner. Brent works as a Personal Trainer at the Sport and Rugby Institute and is also a Massey Academy of Sport Assistant Trainer. In the past four years he has worked with a stellar line up of clients including NZ Basketball, Manawatu Football, Manawatu netball and many other local clubs and organisations. Since graduating in 2007 Brent has worked with many different clients with different goals they all have one thing in common, they all get results.
